Supper Club with Chris and Greg Schiffer

Alumni , Areas of Study , Featured Events , Finance Stories | Feb 22, 2012 |

Two alumni brothers — Christopher Schiffer (GSB ’91) and Gregory Schiffer (GSB ’94) — will join forces for a double-strength Supper Club dinner on March 7. Two alumni hosts means twice the networks and twice the knowledge (but not twice the dinner … still one entree per person!).

Chris Schiffer represents the finance side of the equation. He is the director of operations at Geller Family Financial Services, LLC, and has previously worked at Jefferies & Company, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan Chase and PwC. A financial services executive who holds an MBA, CPA and eight FINRA licenses, he has more than 20 years of experience in the field.

Greg Schiffer specializes in the insurance field. He heads the U.S. property products department for the Zurich-based company Swiss Re, working from its office in Armonk, New York, and he is vice chairman of American Nuclear Insurers, a joint underwriting association that provides property and liability insurance for nuclear power plants and related facilities throughout the world.

Want to have a networking dinner with them as part of our Supper Club program? Here are the details:

Date: Wednesday, March 7
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Emilia’s, 2331 Arthur Avenue
Apply: Submit your interest no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, using this form. Students selected for the dinner will be notified by e-mail.

Note: Both of the Schiffers are interested in meeting potential candidates to hire for positions, so juniors and seniors will be considered strongly for this Supper Club. If you are looking for a job, do not miss this one!
